The Idea Tree

A piece that had to be done in one class period of my Photoshop class. We had a couple of requirements we had to fulfill, like masking effects, layer effects, using the brush tool, ect. But, other than that, we could do whatever the heck we wanted. (I like assignments like that.)Obviously, I took the brush tool and set off running.

Actually, this is my first attempt at digital painting. There are definitely some issues, but I especially like the girl's dress. Don't ask me why she's wearing a dress while she's climbing trees. o_o

The thought behind this is... ideas growing in my brain like fruit on a tree. All different sorts of ideas. This piece was fun to do. I'm amazed it came out looking like this after only one class session. I'm looking forward to doing more digital painting.
